A BIT OF HISTORY
Scallywags Pet Salon is a start-up company from the dreams of Ryan Gregoire, with 17 years grooming experience in small Mom and Pop’s style salons as well as leadership experience at a 5-Star Pet Boarding Facility. The idea is to bring these two styles together in a fun and safe environment for pets, parents, and groomers to be able to broaden their visions on pet styling.

I have been working in the Pet Grooming Industry for over 17 years. Like many I started as a bather and after about a year was offered an apprenticeship to become a groomer. I have worked for both a large 5-Star Pet Resort and small Mom & Pops style grooming Salon. As I have been running the salon as mentioned pet resort for the last 7 years, I aim to bring together the best of both worlds. Much as I have grown and raised a crew into some of the best groomer’s Northern Virginia has to offer, I aim to bring that very same quality to you with the comfort, reliability, and individual care you can expect from a local owned shop.

our SERVICES
Bath Service: Our baths include two washes with our standard shampoo (unless otherwise speciified), conditioner during the second wash, thoroughly rinsed and dried, nails clipped, ears cleaned and finally a 15 minute brushout is included as needed.
HAIRCUTS
Our haircut service includes everything that comes with our bath service as well as the agreed upon haircut.
*Prices for baths and haircuts vary depending on breed/weight and thickness of coat.
Outside of the included 15 minutes of brushing, there is a $90/hour brushout or dematt fee.
A special handling fee of $25 may be applied if your pet requires additional assistance for their own safety and/or our staff.

Specialty Shampoos include: Medicated, Hypoallergenic, Flea & Tick, Deskunk, Aromatherapy

$8 Services
-Teeth Brushing: Using a toothbrush and pet safe tooth paste.
-Anal Glands: Anal expression only.
-Facial Scrub: To lighten and attempt to remove tear stains.
-Eye Trims: A clipping of hair between and and above the eyes.
-Nail Grinding: File down and smooth out nails after cutting.
-Sanitary Trims
